Has a 1st class honours degree in photography. Enjoys many uses of photography but particularly drawn to any involving people.

Was not born in Yorkshire but has lived there most of his life, and has it on good local authority that this will never make him a proper Yorkshireman.

Has a lovely wife and two grown-up children (also lovely), who are both enjoying full-time education.

Was born in Bristol and grew up in Somerset. Still misses the kinder weather. Now lives near Skipton (officially the happiest place in the UK) in North Yorkshire.

Spent most of his working life working with numbers, systems, processes and people in very large businesses. Enjoyed the travel and photography opportunities that came with it.
